Membership 2007

Membership for 2007 is just e325. There is e25 discount is you renew your membership before April 1 (that just two weeks from now). Contact Ralph for details.

 

Frostbites 06-07

The weather has been a little inclement but there has been the odd race between the gales. Well done to Brenda and Nigel who won the mugs on February 18'th.
Magno 2660 is currently in first place overall in Series-2 with just one race to go so fingers crossed.

Powerboat Course

Nicola has organized a powerboat course with the Royal St. George on the 28'th & 29'th of April. This is normally a three day course so it a great opportunity to do this in one weekend. You can also claim a rebate of e50 on you membership if you take this course.

This is the minimum qualification that every member of this club should have.

Glenans 2007

Why not sweep away the cobwebs with a weekend in Glenans to start the season. There will be a number of members doing training courses on both bases, over Easter and the May bank holiday weekends, so you'll be in good company. http://gisc.ie/content/blogsection/29/201/lang,en/

 

Start Of Sailing

Frostbites will finish up on March 25. We will be starting regular weekend dinghy sailing from April 1onwards. Evening sessions will start from May 1.

The Ruffian will be back in the water by the end of April.

 

DBSC racing

DBSC dinghy racing will start on April 24. Racing is on Tuesday evenings and Saturdays. It's a PY class so you can race a Magno or a 420. The entry fee is 285 euros per boat. f you are interested in taking part please contact Nicola.

Night Out March 29

The social committee has a busy schedule planned for the year. The fun starts with a celebration of the return of evening sunlight with dinner at the Cedar Tree, Andrews St on March 29'th at 7.30. Friends and guests are also welcome. Please contact Eamonn if you'd like to come along.
